In the run up to festival season, I’ve been privileged to attend a few London parties (that’s what it’s about, really, isn’t it?) including the launch of Capital Crime 2026 and the Zaffre Crime and Thriller list celebration, where I managed to spill wine over various literary luminaries, and have greatly enjoyed pontificating at various public events in the south of England such as the awesome Bodies in the Bookshop in Cambridge and the newly reopened Hailsham Library.
